Wealth

There are no riches
• Not silver nor gold
• Not furs nor cars
• Or any luxuries sold
• That can bring happiness
• As much as a friend
• Who will see you through
• Until the bitter end

  FRIENDSHIP

• Whenever it feels like the world will end
  • It's good to know you have a friend
  • Believe it or not, you know it's true
  • Special friends are very few
  • They lift you up when you are down
  • And always seem to be around
  • To fill the days with smiles and laughter
  • Forever more and ever after
  • So don't give up and even not try
  • Don't even ask, cause you know why
  • Don't ever lose hope in what you do
  • Your friends are there to see you through
    
    
  
  
  
  Day to Day
  
  Early in the morning
  • Before the roosters crow
  • My alarm goes off
  • Saying it's time to go
  • My hair is a mess
  • From a restless night
  • And staying awake
  • Is a constant fight
  • Five more minutes of sleep
  • That's all that I need
  • Then I'll be up in no time
  • To do my morning deed
  • So I hit the snooze
  • And cover my head
  • For that five extra minutes
  • Of laying in bed
  • But only seconds later
  • I awake with a start
  • The stupid alarm didn't sound
  • It didn't do its part
  • In a frenzied rush
  • I fly out of bed
  • And thinking to myself
  • "God I'm so dead"
  • How did this happen
  • Am I hated by fate?
  • Cause every morning
  • I'm always very late
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Life
  
  There are things in this life
  • That you just can't explain
  • Some may bring sunshine
  • Others may bring rain
  • Sometimes you must stop wondering
  • As to the way things are
  • And just keep reaching
