What is the Platypus?
The platypus of the web bears several similarities to the real-life critter. Its very nature leaves it hard to define and harder to understand. The one thing folks seems to able to agree on is that the little sucker is cute, if somewhat goofy looking.

Who is the Platypus?
That's me. Your duckbilled mammal with the mostest.

Where is the Platypus?
He's all around you... feel his all encompassing aura, lowly web-surfer type!!! In a more accurate way, platypi can be found pretty much anywhere. They are the Mr. Beans and the Inspector Gadgets of the world, they are the Basselopes and the spanish speaking really small doggies. Basically, if you're looking at someone or something and it doesn't seem to match up with its surroundings, yet you find it strangely endearing, pick it up and shake it. Chances are you'll see "Platypus" branded in its fur (caution -- although you may find them endearing, this is by no means an indication that they are similarly enamoured with you. Please excercise all caution in "picking up and shaking" these creatures).
