VECTOR was a dynamic group of Washington DC area musicians, playing original compositions, improvised sounds and exciting interpretations of jazz classics for 7 years. We played for President Clinton at a 1997 Inaugural Ball, shared stages with the James Taylor Quartet and Fareed Haque and the Muffins, play regularly at State of the Union club on U Street in DC, and can be heard at many other clubs and festivals from Baltimore to Richmond. VECTOR disbanded in June 2001.

If they are out of business, send me an e-mail. The album has 13 tracks, all original except for our interpretation of Coltrane's "Lonnie's Lament." The other tunes cover free improv, composed melodies over groove loops and complex songs, featuring the late BT on guitar. We have dedicated one tune to the late, lamented and wonderful Lester Bowie.
